As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially aware HR Consultant to support our clients and contribute to the development of the business.
The Role
This is not a traditional internal HR role.
You will work directly with a range of client organisations, helping them handle real HR challenges and develop practical people management systems.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
- Supporting organisations with HR frameworks, policies and management processes
- Helping managers handle difficult people situations confidently and lawfully
- Delivering practical HR advice in a way that reflects the realities of operational businesses
- Contributing to leadership development and management capability work
- Supporting recruitment and organisational development projects where required
- Attending networking meetings and representing Progressa in front of potential clients
- The role combines HR expertise, commercial awareness, and client-facing advisory work.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is technically competent but also practical and commercially aware.
The ideal candidate will have:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
- Associate membership of the CIPD (Assoc CIPD)
- Experience handling employee relations matters in a commercial environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working directly with business owners and leadership teams
- A practical approach to HR that works in real organisations, not just in theory
- The ability to represent the business professionally at networking events
- The right to work in the United Kingdom
- Must live in the United Kingdom
Working Arrangements
The role offers a flexible working structure.
- Working from home is possible for a significant portion of the role
- However, the position will require regular travel to client sites
- Occasional attendance at networking events and meetings will also be expected
