As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for a Health & Safety professional to support our clients across a range of operational environments.
The Role
This is not a traditional internal H&S role.
You will work directly with client organisations, helping them strengthen safety leadership, improve systems and manage risk in real operational environments.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients with Health & Safety systems and compliance frameworks
- Carrying out site visits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Assisting organisations with accident and incident investigations
- Helping managers understand and fulfil their safety responsibilities
- Supporting clients in developing practical safety management systems
- Assisting with internal audits and system reviews
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings where required
- Contributing to wider operational improvement work across client organisations
The role involves working closely with business owners, managers and operational teams to ensure safety systems operate effectively in practice.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with a solid Health & Safety background who is keen to develop further within a consultancy environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- TechIOSH membership or higher
- NEBOSH Certificate or higher
- An interest in progressing toward Chartered Membership (CMIOSH / MIOSH)
- Practical Health & Safety experience in operational environments such as construction, manufacturing, facilities management or logistics
- The ability to communicate clearly with managers and operational teams
- A practical approach to safety that works in real businesses
- Confidence working directly with clients and representing Progressa professionally
- The right to work in the United Kingdom
- Must live in the United Kingdom
Working Arrangements
This role offers a flexible working structure.
- Working from home is possible for some aspects of the role
- However, regular travel to client sites will be required
- The role will involve working in a range of operational environments
